Company History
Scotsgolf Ltd was established in 2000. (Not just a ".dot com" business but a real business with real people!).
The original concept was developed in 1999 by Rod Jamieson
who recognised the potential for providing specialist VIP golfing holidays with a strong emphasis on Scottish culture.
The Directors of Scotsgolf Ltd are Rod Jamieson and Ken Gauld
both of whom have many years of successful Business and Management experience. Ken joined the Company in September 2001.
In order to strengthen the Board, an additional
non-executive Director Iain Jamieson DMS, MBA has recently joined the company and brings with |

him 30 years experience as a leader in his field in Outdoor activities within the Leisure
Industry in Scotland. Iain also has extensive experience in Business Management.
Alasdair Morrison (Scotland's Deputy Minister for Tourism) launched The Scotsgolf Ltd Company
website from on board the QE2 at the Millennium Open in St Andrews, the now Historic scene of Tiger Woods victory Trail. "I commend the people behind Scotsgolf Ltd. Scotland's
world-class golf facilities are being utilised by Scotsgolf Ltd to attract more tourists. Scotsgolf Ltd uses traditional and Internet based marketing techniques to sell
tailored holiday packages to potential visitors from around the world. Golfing breaks will form the core of the company's business though they will |

cater for other Specialised
interests such as fishing, shooting, Outdoor activities, Castle Tours, Historic Scotland, Whisky Trails and bespoke requirements." (Extract from

And so it has come to pass that Scotsgolf Ltd is firmly established as one of Scotland's leading inbound Golf Tour Operators.
